Internet Time Display Bot

What is Internet Time?

Swatch Internet Time was created by Swatch corporation in 1998 to solve timezone confusion when communicating on the internet, and to market a new line of watches. Days are divided into 1,000 equal parts called beats, which do not have timezones. @000 lines up with midnight UTC+1 (Central European Time, West Africa Time).

Here’s an example. Let’s say that you’ve just made a new friend online, but you have to go finish a project and will be back tomorrow. You tell him that you’ll be back at 7:00 AM. Now, you live in Alaska, but little do you know, he lives in New York! He comes back at 7:00 AM, and you’re still asleep! Internet Time fixes the problem. You later apologize and tell him you’ll be back at @708 the next day. He comes back at the appointed time, and you’re there!

What can you do with this bot?

You can have a handy clock so you don’t have to look away from Discord to find the current Internet Time!

That’s it. You’ve found one of the simplest Discord bots ever. No seriously, all you can do is look at the time.
